Char-Griller 2137 Outlaw 950 Square Inch Charcoal Grill Review
Char-Griller 2137 Outlaw Charcoal Grill has massive 950 square inches of total cooking area at a very affordable pricing. But is it any good?
Char-Griller 2137 Outlaw 950 Square Inch Charcoal Grill
Char-Griller 2137 has a primary cooking area of 725 square inches and warming rack of 225 square inches making up a total of 950 square inches.
So how is the quality? Not great. The metal is not very thick, welding is sloppy, wood shelves and handle doesn’t feel particularly sturdy and the grill is a bit wobbly. On the upside cast iron grates are heavy duty and very nice.
As you can see overall quality isn’t great. It’s not absolutely terrible, the grill is still quite usable, but if you buy this model be aware that it won’t be quite perfect as you might have imagined.
So how well does it cook? Pretty good for the most part. It cooks evenly and air circulation is good however if you are cooking for longer periods of time maintaining steady temperature can be a bit tricky.
Features

Assembly
Char-Griller 2137 is not the easiest grill to assemble but it’s not too hard either. The biggest issue are the instructions which can be hard to understand and are imprecise at times. You might have to stop and think for a minute here and there but there isn’t anything that should be too much trouble.
Other
Packaging could be better to reduce chance of damage during shipping.
Conclusions
Char-Griller 2137 is not a good or a bad grill, it’s just mediocre. Such a large grill can’t be perfect at such affordable price so there’s a decision for you to make. If you are able to accept the mediocre quality then it might be worth to buy however if you are not then you either have to opt out for a smaller grill or spend a lot more money!
