Capresso 591.05 Burr Coffee Grinder Review

Capresso 591.05 is one of the cheapest burr coffee grinders you can buy, so is it any good?

Grinding

As you would expect from a cheap burr grinder the grind quality isn’t the best. It doesn’t grind fine enough for espresso or Turkish coffees and you definitely notice some inconsistency over all grinds settings. Flaws doesn’t end here: Capresso 591.05 is also loud, a bit messy and hard to clean.

What does inconsistencies mean for your coffee? Less flavor and more bitterness. It won’t taste as good. Capresso 591.05 is still better than using a blade grinder however if you appreciate a good tasting cup of coffee then more advanced grinder is something you should get instead.

Controls

Controls are very simple. You get two dials – one for grind settings (total of 18) and cup setting (amount to be grinded – 2 to 12 cups). Once you have selected the desired settings you simply press “On” button to start grinding.

Conclusions
