BOSSIN BZ5812C countertop ice maker can produce up to 26 pounds of bullet shaped ice cubes with hollow inside every day.

Ice production

BOSSIN BZ5812C can make ice cubes in two sizes: small and large. It makes 9 ice cubes per batch. Batch of small ice cubes takes 6-9 minutes to be made whereas a batch of large ones about 13.

Bullet shaped ice cubes with hollow inside have larger contact area with your drink than square shaped cubes – because of this they melt faster however also do a better job of cooling your drink. When ice cubes melt water goes right back into water reservoir.

Control panel

BOSSIN BZ5812C has intuitive and easy to use control panel. It features 2 buttons and 6 indicator lights:

• Buttons:
  • “On/Off” button: Press to either turn ice maker on or off. Hold it to enter self-clean mode.
  • “Select” button: Press to switch between ice cube size setting.
• Indicator lights:
  • “Add water” indicator light: means that water reservoir is empty and ice production is paused until you add water.
  • “Ice full” indicator light: means ice basket is full and ice production is pauses until you remove ice cubes.
  • “Power” indicator light: means that unit is turned on.
  • “S” indicator light: means that you have selected small ice cube size setting.
  • “L” indicator light: means that you have selected large ice cube size setting.

Features

BOSSIN BZ5812C has sensors that detect when ice basket is full or water reservoir is empty – when it does detect either it pauses ice production until you resolve the problem.

It has self-cleaning feature – just hole “On/Off” button for around 5 second and it will start cleaning itself. It runs for about 30 minutes.
