The storage capacity of 150 gallons is enormous and you can fit massive amounts of stuff inside the storage box, it’s very spacious! Inside dimensions are 56″ x 34.6″ x 22.8″ (L x W x H) and outside – 61″ x 28.5″ x 25.4″.

Although the plastic is a bit thin it seems to be reasonably sturdy and durable, however because of the thinness critters like rats or squirrels can potentially chew through the plastic and access your belongings. Other than the thinness the plastic itself is of good quality. When assembled correctly the Keter Westwood 150 Gallon deck box is sturdy and can be sat on, the lid supports up to 660 lbs according to manufacturer. It’s a bit tall for a bench though and might not be that comfortable to sit on if you are short.

Keter Westwood 150 Gallon deck storage box isn’t waterproof, but it deals with rain well and keeps the inside of the storage box dry as long as it isn’t submerged in water. It has hydraulic hinges so lid always closes softly. Deck box can the locked with a padlock, but since it’s made from plastic it probably isn’t particularly secure place to store valuable belongings.

Assembly is easy but it does take around 30 minutes to do. Most of the assembly process is snapping pieces together, but you will also have to screw some screws for stability. Assembled product looks great. Deck box has wood-paneled finish and texture which won’t be mistaken for an actual wood, but it does look good.

Overall this is a good deck box. It’s not quite the best but considering the price it seems to offer best value for money.

Lifetime 60254 150 gallon storage box is made out of dual wall high-density polyethylene (hdpe). 150 Gallons of storage space is massive and you can fit tons of stuff inside.

The quality of Lifetime 150 gallon deck box is excellent. The plastic is high quality and of high density. It’s strong and durable, way more than other plastic storage deck boxes. You can safely sit on it. It will easily last for years. All of that comes at a price – it’s quite expensive compared to other deck boxes of this storage capacity.

It seems to be waterproof as long as you assemble it correctly. Lid is controlled by hydraulic struts that opens it by more than 90° and won’t slam shut.

Assembly is difficult if you do it alone but it’s doable, however I would suggest to find a helping hand and assemble it together with someone – it’s much easier that way (although still a bit difficult). Assembly takes about an hour.

Overall this is among the best outdoor deck storage boxes of its type. It’s pricey though and the extra price tag might not be worth the extra quality for many. Some of the cheaper deck boxes will be good enough for most.

Keter 211359 Borneo 110 gallon deck box is made out of polypropylene resin plastic. It’s not huge but it’s certainly quite roomy and provides a lot of storage space. Manufacturer claims it has a total of 110 gallon storage capacity, however according to their claimed interior dimensions of 45″ (Length) x 23.4″ (Width) x 21.3″ (Height) we can calculate that it actually should have only 97 gallons. Weird.

Plastic seems to be durable and long lasting, the deck box deals with warm and cold weather just fine. It deals with rain well too – inside contents stays dry however this deck box isn’t absolutely waterproof, inside still can potentially get wet if the deck box is submerged in water. It can support up to 484 lbs of weight so you can use it as bench. Assembly is simple and straight-forward, it’s mostly snapping pieces together and takes around 15 minutes.

Overall this is a good quality deck box and well worth the pricing.

The plastic and body panels are of high quality and very durable – this storage box will last for years to come. It’s sturdy enough to be sat on and it doesn’t bend or anything like that. The inside contents are well secured – snow, rain or critters doesn’t get in.

Assembly is simple and doesn’t require any tools – it takes around 20 minutes to complete.

Overall this is a great storage box that offers good amount of storage capacity. It’s very sturdy and will last for years.

It has hydraulic hinges that work very well. The lid is lockable you just need to get a lock separately (it’s not included in the package).

Overall quality of this deck box is pretty good, but it’s a bit expensive compared to others with similar storage capacity. In fact its pricing is in the same region as some 150 gallon storage boxes which provide a lot more storage.

Keter 233705 storage cube is made out of resin plastic. The storage capacity of 55 gallons can be labelled as small-medium sized. It provides decent storage space but it’s not huge or massive.

Storage cube is durable and sturdy. Interestingly the sales listing claims you can sit on it, whereas instructions say you shouldn’t. It feels sturdy to be sat on but since instructions say otherwise I can’t suggest to do so. It’s also very critter and water resistant. There is no place for padlock and the deck box is not lockable.

Assembly is simple and shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes but instructions could be more explicit, however that doesn’t matter a lost as the process is quite straight forward. Most of the assembly process consists of snapping pieces together but you will also need to screw four screws to assemble hinges. Tip: If the pieces doesn’t snap easily you probably have floor facing the wrong way.

Overall this is a good storage box that’s sturdy, however for the pricing you would expect more storage capacity.

Suncast wicker storage cube has multi-wall resin construction and has a beautiful java wicker pattern to it. It has a storage capacity of 60 gallons.

The plastic isn’t as nice as with other Suncast storage boxes, but if assembled correctly it’s very sturdy and durable. A 200 lb person can sit on it without any bending. It seems to be well sealed as it’s quite weather resistant and inside stays dry during/after rain. It has gas shocks/hinges make opening/closing lid simple, smooth and comfortable. There is no place for a lock so Suncast wicker storage cube cannot be locked.

Assembly is a simple process with exception of connecting hinges which is quite complex and will require some patience for most.

Overall this is a good storage cube for its price.

Best Choice Products storage box is made out of weather-resistant wicker and has steel frame that makes the box more sturdy. Overall the box is sturdy and strong, it definitely should last for years. It has nice hydraulic hinges which makes opening and closing the lid smooth and simple.

Suncast SS1000 22 gallon storage seat is made out of polypropylene resin plastic. It doesn’t offer loads of storage space but you can still fit some stuff inside. They are designed as seats so some might buy multiple of them for this functionality and subsequently have a lot more of total storage, but they aren’t particularly comfortable to sit on. They aren’t terribly uncomfortable either, but you probably won’t want to sit on them for extended periods of time as they provide pretty much zero back support.

Suncast storage seat is durable and sturdy, it doesn’t bend when you sit on it and the quality of plastic is good enough to last a long time. It seems also to be completely waterproof as inside stays dry in rain and even when few inches of the bottom are submerged in water.

Overall Suncast storage seat doesn’t offer that much storage capacity for the price, but it’s well made, sturdy and has a dual-purpose of being also a seat.

Assembled product feels solid and sturdy. You can sit on it with no problems like plastic bending. It was actually designed to do so and has small ridges on three of the four sides to keep you in place. The plastic is of nice quality, although not as nice as Suncast products.

Overall this is a nice, small, sturdy deck box. If you don’t need a lot of storage space then this might be a decent option for you.

The shelf is adjustable in height.

The unit is pretty water resistant deals with rain well – inside stays dry as long as the bottom of it doesn’t get submerged.

The doors close very tightly and are a bit hard to open.

Keters storage table also has other interesting features like built-in spice rack and paper towel holder, as well hooks hanger with four S-hooks and a bottle opener. The sealed storage can be locked but you need two padlocks (one for each door).

Most of the assembly is pretty simple but some might find some parts of it a bit tricky, overall it shouldn’t take longer than an hour to fully assemble Keter storage table. Assembled properly this storage table is very sturdy and doesn’t wobble. It’s made out of resin plastic, the plastic is of nice quality but not as nice as Suncast.

If you will find stainless steel top and other functions of this storage table useful then it can be considered for purchase, however it doesn’t offer much storage capacity for the price.

The lid supports up to 176 lbs so it can be used for seating by a light person. It feels like it can handle more too, but going against manufacturers instructions cannot be recommended. The deck box itself weighs 26 lbs – it’s light and therefore easy to move, which can also be a negative in windy conditions. Assembly is very simple. It’s rain resistant as rain doesn’t get inside, however if it had been raining and the lid is wet then because of the design the water will slide inside the deck box when you open the lid.

Overall KOOLWOOM 120-Gallon deck box is of good quality, but not quite the best.

Rubbermaid 2047053 deck box is made out of resin plastic. It has a medium sized storage capacity of 10 cubic feet or 75 gallons.

The quality of plastic is good and it’s sturdy – sturdy enough for 2 adults sitting on the deck box at the same time. However the build quality could be better – there are small gaps between some of the panels. Deck box is somewhat water resistant but it’s not totally waterproof – moisture gets through the gaps, they can be sealed with silicone though. It’s also not critter free as they can get inside through the gaps.

Assembly is a bit tricky but it’s not super complicated and anyone should be able to do it. Assembly takes around 15 minutes and it’s important to follow instructions without skipping any steps.

Overall this isn’t a bad deck box but it’s far from best. Despite being sturdy and offering good value for money considering the storage capacity it has shortcomings like panel gap imperfections which can lead to stored items getting wet.

Assembly is very simple and takes about 5 minutes. Assembled unit is pretty sturdy and the lid supports weight of an 200 lbs heavy adult with no problems. The plastic is strong enough not to be chewed through by critters. After assembly you might see some small gaps and think that rain will get inside, but surprisingly it seems the water doesn’t get inside.

Overall it’s a decent storage box but it feels a bit too expensive for the quality and storage capacity.

Assembly is of medium difficulty and instructions could be more clear, however it’s not hard at all to put together this storage table it can be just a bit tricky at times.

Overall this storage table doesn’t offer lots of storage capacity, but it’s well made and looks good.

Barton storage bench is made out of wicker. The lid is a cushioned and works as a seat, however the lid is also very flimsy and isn’t sturdy enough to actually be used for such purposes. If you actually use it for sitting it will probably break sooner than later, that is if it doesn’t break on the first time. Manufacturer claims that lid can hold up to 400 lbs which I wouldn’t suggest to test. The rest of the storage bench feels pretty sturdy. It has a sturdy metal frame that makes overall build feel rigid. Barton storage bench isn’t waterproof – the rain does get inside.

Assembly is of medium difficulty.

For the 60 gallon storage capacity it offers it’s too expensive and it has other flaws too. Overall I would say this storage bench is mediocre at best and far from best at this pricing.

It uses metal rails for support, which is a nice feature, however the plastic is of cheap quality and very thin which makes it flimsy. There are some holes in the upper side of the storage container for ventilation, but water, snow and critters can potentially get inside. You can technically sit on it as manufacturer claims that it can handle up to 530 lbs of weight on the lid, however the cheap plastic isn’t reassuring.

Assembly is simple. All you need is a screwdriver to assemble this storage container and instructions are accurate and easy to understand. Lid is lockable but you need to provide a padlock.

Overall this storage container has a good storage capacity but it’s also quite flimsy and not as well made as other products.

It’s an interesting alternative to regular deck boxes as it serves as a bench and storage solution at the same time. 70 gallons is a decent amount of storage capacity. It’s not massive but you can still store quite a lot of belongings there.

Assembly takes around 30 minutes, instructions are detailed enough and easy to understand. Assembly mainly consists of snapping pieces together and screwing some screws. It’s important to do assembly correctly as indicated in instructions and not skip any steps, otherwise the storage bench won’t be as robust.

The plastic is quite thin (especially the floor panel) and feels cheap. It’s not terrible but it would be nice if it was higher quality, however it’s probably not possible at this pricing.

Assembled product feels a bit flimsy and doesn’t inspire confidence on its durability. Bench apparently supports up to 771 lbs of weight, but you probably won’t feel safe sitting on it. I’m not saying it will collapse, but it feels like it could. If you assemble it correctly it should be good for a while, but you have to be aware that such constructions weaken with time. It’s not all bad though, the bench is very comfortable to sit on.

Lid is lockable, however padlock isn’t included.

Keter 213126 Eden 70 gallon storage bench isn’t heavy duty. The quality is lacking, but considering its price it’s not a bad value for money. It offers a decent amount of storage space under the disguise of a bench for a very affordable pricing.

Furinno FG17685 Tioman deck box is made out of Malaysia hardwood and marine plywood. The deck box measures at 44.49″ (Width) x 23.43″ (Height) x 20.55″ (Depth).

Furinno FG17685 is cheaply made. The wood is rough and unfinished. The finish is simple oil stain. It’s unlikely this deck box will last outdoors. Hinges are too tight, the springs are too strong too – lid slams with great force and bang. You have to be very careful when operating the lid.

Overall I suggest to avoid this deck box.
