Euhomy makes so many different models of portable/countertop ice cube makers it can be hard to choose which one to buy. To make this choice easier today we will find out which ones are the best!

#1 Euhomy IM-F 40 lb. Countertop Ice Maker

Euhomy IM-F makes up to 40 lbs of ice cubes in 24 hours – significantly more than most countertop ice makers.

Most ice makers also make bullet shaped ice cubes with hollow middle – not Euhomy IM-F, it makes the good old square shaped ones. That’s neither a good or a bad thing, just a matter of preference. If assume that both of them are of same size and quality then bullet shaped ice cubes cool drinks better than square shaped ones due to increased contact are with liquid but also melt faster for that same reason.

Every batch Euhomy IM-F makes results in 24 ice cubes. How long does a single batch take to make? It depends as it’s adjustable. Longer batches will output thicker and bigger ice cubes that will take longer to melt and vice versa. Depending on setting you can expect expect 3-4 batches every hour (72 to 96 ice cubes).

Ice cube quality is good. Only real complaint is that all of 24 ice cubes come out as a single sheet that you have to manually break apart unless you let them to melt to a certain point

Ice basket is not refrigerated so it will eventually happen if you leave them there but since Euhomy IM-F is well insulated and ice cubes are dense and well made it will take a very long time so it’s not practical solution. Need ice maker with refrigerated basket? Then you better be ready to spend a lot of money because a good one will be expensive.

Control panel

Euhomy IM-F has LCD display and 4 buttons: “Timer”, “On/Off”, “-” and “+”. All of them are pretty self explanatory but some might be confused by the last two – those are used for increasing or decreasing batch time.

Dimensions and weight

Since Euhomy IM-F outputs more ice than most ice makers it might come not as a surprise that it’s also heavier and larger than most. It weighs 24.3 lbs and measures 11 inches wide, 14.1 inches deep and 13.7 inches high.

Features

Euhomy IM-F has sensors that will detect and pause ice making process when ice basket is full or water reservoir empty. This feature is nothing special though as pretty much all countertop ice makers have it. Water reservoir capacity is 2.2 liters (about 74 oz) and ice basket that’s also removable holds up to 2.2 pounds of ice cubes. Since ice basket isn’t refrigerated ice cubes will slowly melt if left there and melted water will go back into water reservoir.

One feature that most don’t have is timer. You can postpone ice production by up to 8 hours so you can have fresh ice cubes awaiting you when you want to!

Euhomy IM-F ice maker also has stainless steel housing which makes it look fancier than most ice makers which are made of ABS or different kind of plastic.

Conclusions

Although Euhomy IM-F has some minor flaws overall it’s a good ice maker.

#2 Euhomy IM-01 Countertop/Portable Ice Maker

Euhomy IM-01 makes up to 26 lbs of bullet shaped ice cubes with hollow inside in 24 hours. Although it’s not as advanced as Euhomy IM-F it does has some advantages over it – it generally retails at lower price and ice cubes doesn’t come out in a single sheet.

Euhomy IM-01 makes 9 ice cubes per batch and each batch usually takes around 8 minutes to be made but can vary from 6 to 13 minutes depending on different circumstances. First couple batches might be of lower quality than the following ones.

Ice cube quality is good but they seem to be less dense than ones made with IM-F and melt faster. Also because it makes less ice it might fail to keep up with demand if you have guests over which IM-F likely won’t have a problem with.

Control panel

Euhomy IM-01 has very basic control panel that features only two buttons: “On/Off” and “Select” buttons (latter is for selecting ice cube size).

It also has 5 indicator lights. Two of them are warning indicator (“Ice basket full” and “Water reservoir empty”), two are for displaying which ice cube size setting has been selected (“Small” and “Large”) and fifth indicator light simply illuminates when ice maker is running.

Features

Euhomy IM-01 has sensors that will detect when water reservoir has run out of water or ice bucket is full of ice cubes and will pause ice production if necessary. Water reservoir holds 2.2 liters (~74 oz) of water however ice bucket is a bit small as it only holds up to 1.54 lbs of ice cubes.

Euhomy IM-01 also features stainless steel housing and a drain plug.

Conclusions

Euhomy IM-01 is less advanced than IM-F and its ice cubes melt faster but you don’t have to manually break them apart and it’s less expensive. For some Euhomy IM-01 will be a better choice.

#3 Euhomy IM-12AS Portable Countertop 26lbs/24H Ice Maker

Euhomy IM-12AS is very similar to IM-01. It also makes up to 26 lbs of bullet shaped ice cubes with hollow middle in 24 hours. It also makes 9 ice cubes per batch. It also offers 2 different size options. It has control panel with same buttons and indicator lights but the layout is different. Ice cube quality is similar as well. Even the ice basket and water reservoir capacities are the same.

So what are the main differences? Euhomy IM-12AS has plastic housing opposed to stainless steel. It also looks a bit less fancy but that might be subjective.

Conclusions

Euhomy IM-12AS is almost identical to IM-01 when it comes to being an ice maker other than the different design and materials. They are similarly priced but IM-01 is a slightly better one.
