#1 TaoTronics TT-DL16 LED desk lamp

TaoTronics TT-DL16 is the most expensive led desk lamp in this list but it also manages to be the best one. It’s very stylish and modern looking, the brushed metallic finish looks amazing and is fingerprint resistant. It’s sturdy and well made, definitely high quality and has expensive/luxurious feel to it. TaoTronics TT-DL16 LED lamp has a surprisingly heavy base despite its small size and it stays stable at all times, it won’t fall over when the arm is way to the side.

With 5 colors modes (from incandescent yellowish to fluorescent white-blue color) and 6 brightness levels (from very dim to super bright) it has a total of 30 adjustable lighting choices. With such a large range of choice you will find the perfect lighting for every occasion. The lamp emits a glare-free and non-flickering light that’s friendly to eyes. The maximum brightness is rated at 600 lumens and CCT (correlated color temperature) is in range of 2700K-6500K. The maximum brightness level is very impressive and although the CCT range isn’t the best but it’s not far off it and certainly is good enough.

The controls are very intuitive and easy to use. They work great and are responsive. You can change the brightness or temperature of the light by sliding your finger on the glass touch pad. When you turn on the TaoTronics TT-DL16 LED desk lamp it returns to previous settings you had on. There is also a “favorite” button – you can set up your favorite brightness and color temperature settings and activate them with a single touch. Another great function is “nightlight” button which will turn on very dim light which prevents you from being blinded in situations like waking up during the night when your eyes hasn’t adjusted to light. TaoTronics TT-DL16 has a one-hour timer function which will turn off the lamp in case you forget to.

The base, neck and head of TaoTronics TT-DL16 LED desk lamp are rotatable which lets you position the light source in any way you want. The LED desk lamp does get a bit warm if you a running it on the brightest setting but not so much that it would hurt you/burn your skin.

#2 AOVOK LED Desk Lamp

AOVOK LED Desk Lamp outputs a bright and clean light. The brightness is rated at over 900 lm (which is really impressive) and the light emitting angle is 320 degrees. The lifetime is LEDs is 50,000 hours. The brightness is adjustable and there are 4 color modes:

• Cool white: ideal for later working and studying
• Natural light: good for reading
• Warm white: relaxing to make you feel decompressive
• Warm yellow: nice for sleeping as a night light

AOVOK LED Desk Lamp well built and sturdy, it’s made from plastic and aluminum.

The head never gets hot even if you run it for hours (it does get a bit warm). There are a lot of adjustment capabilities: the head is 320 degrees rotatable on left and right, it can also be rotated vertically up to 180 degrees. The lamp arm rotates 150 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees left and right.

Some of the controls are a bit tricky but other than that this is a great lamp. To turn off the lamp you have to hold power button for 2 seconds, to adjust brightness – for 3. The color modes have separate button.

Overall AOVOK LED Desk Lamp is outstanding LED desk lamp that outputs a clear and very bright light.

#4 Fugetek FT-L798 LED desk lamp

Fugetek FT-L798 LED desk lamp is made from plastic but feels sturdy and well made. The plastic however is fingerprint magnet so if you like to keep your things clean and shining you might find yourself cleaning this lamp quite often. The base is heavy and the LED desk lamp is stable, it won’t fall over. Controls are all touch sensitive, intuitive/easy to use and responsive.

Fugetek FT-L798 LED desk lamp offers brightness of 530 lumens are the brightest setting. With the CRI of 90+ the quality of lighting is very good as well. The lamp has total of 5 brightness modes and 4 color temperature modes in range of 2500K-7000K, offering you total of 20 lighting modes. The 4 colors modes are:

• Reading: 4300-5300K (Equal amount of white and yellow LEDs)
• Study: 6000-7000K (Mostly white LEDs with center row yellow ones)
• Relax: 4300-5300K (Mostly yellow LEDs with some white ones)
• Sleep: 2500-3300K (only center row yellow LEDs)

At the brightest settings the lamp does get a bit warm after a while but not burning hot. Manufacturer claims that the LED bulbs last up to 50,000 hours so the lamp should serve you for years to come.

Fugetek FT-L798 LED desk lamp has decent amount of adjustment for lighting position/angle: the arm can be rotated by up to 140 degrees and the base by up to 180.

Fugetek FT-L798 LED desk lamp has convenient USB port on the side through which you can charge devices like your phone. It doesn’t charge as fast as an outlet does but because this USB is very convenient to access I find it to be quite useful. There is 60 minute automatic shut off function so the lamp can turn itself off in case you forget to.

#5 Lampat LED Desk Lamp

Lampat LED Desk Lamp is pretty much the same desk lamp as Fugetek FT-L798 but it retails at higher price currently. They are nearly identical, however Lampat claims their lamp has 10 watt wattage whereas Fugetek is 14. I suspect Lampat is actually 14 watt lamp because they are too similar to have different wattages.

Since they are pretty much the same lamp same things apply. Lampat LED Desk Lamp is made from plastic that’s is sturdy but gets dirty easily. The maximum brightness is quite impressive. There are 5 brightness modes and 4 color modes. Controls are touch sensitive and simple to use. Lighting angle adjustability is very good. Lampat LED Desk Lamp has USB port through which you can charge all kinds of devices. Overall it’s a great LED desk lamp, it’s same as Fugetek FT-L798 just sells for a slightly higher price.

#6 TaoTronics TT-DL01 LED Desk Lamp

TaoTronics TT-DL01 is pretty much the same as Fugetek FT-L798 & Lampat LED desk lamps. It currently costs the same as Lampat lamp but is more expensive than Fugetek. I would prefer Lampat over TaoTronics in this case since Lampat one doesn’t have a logo on the base – I think it’s more elegant design. However best choice obviously is Fugetek since it’s the cheapest.

TaoTronics TT-DL01 has 5 brightness and 4 color temperature modes (Reading, Study, Relax and Sleep). That equals to total of 20 wide-range lighting options. Brightest setting is rated at 530 lm and it’s pretty bright.

TaoTronics TT-DL01 is made from sturdy plastic that is durable but gets dirty easily.

Overall TaoTronics TT-DL01 is a great LED desk lamp. It’s cheap and the value for money is pretty good, however Fugetek FT-L798 is essentially the same and costs less making it even better bang for buck.

Phive CL-1 LED desk lamp has a total of 9 adjustable lighting choices with 3 brightness levels and 3 lighting modes. The light is clear and bright with good diffusion. The brightness adjustment is good but color temperature adjustment is quite poor – it adjusts in a very thin range. There is a total of 90 pieces of LED bulbs that has a lifetime of up to 50,000 hours.

The head doesn’t get hot even after being on for hours on maximum brightness – it stays cool. The design is very sleek and modern, every part of the lamp is very thin and it looks great. It’s made from a high grade aluminum alloy that looks good and feels expensive.

The controls are simple. You can turn the lamp on/off with a light touch on the button that’s located in the lamps head. To adjust the brightness just hold the same button.

Phive CL-1 is a clamp support lamp that supports up to 2.36 inches tabletop. The clamp is high quality and keeps the lamp stable and secure. You can adjust/rotate lamp in three different places which gives you a lot of adjustment options.

Overall Phive CL-1 is a great LED desk lamp. The color temperature adjustment is limited but other than that it’s a really good lamp.

#8 TaoTronics TT-DL11 LED desk lamp

TaoTronics TT-DL11 is a sleek LED desk lamp, however I wouldn’t call it beautiful. Some of the other more expensive TaoTronics LED Lamps are more futuristic and better looking in my opinion.

The maximum brightness of TaoTronics TT-DL11 LED desk lamp is 386 lumens and the color temperature ranges from 3000 to 6500 Kelvin. The maximum brightness isn’t that impressive compared to most other LED lamps, however it’s not dim and is enough bright for most consumers. TaoTronics TT-DL11 has a total of 35 adjustable lighting choices with 7 brightness levels and 3 lighting modes. It’s more than you need to be honest but we won’t complain, it’s nice to have such a huge option of customization. The lamp has diffuser cover so there is no glare, the LEDs seem to be high quality and have no flickering. The lighting is clear and natural. If you plan to use this LED desk lamp as a night light look for another one – even on the dimmest setting it’s too bright for this purpose.

The lamp itself is sturdy and well made. It has a flexible neck which is very easy to bend and convenient – a really nice feature. Unlike most flexible necks this one keeps the position in which you put it so you don’t have to fight it. The next itself is soft and has a smooth rubbery feel to it – it’s pleasant to touch. The head is a bit heavy though so if you twist it too far the lamp will tip over.

All of the controls are touch control and they are super responsive. They are simple to use and intuitive, with perhaps one exception – to turn off you have to hold the power button, if you don’t know this then turning off the lamp might be confusing before you figure this out. The power and color switch button are not back lit unfortunately so they are tricky to find in darkness. Memory feature remembers the last setting you used and will use them the next time you turn on the lamp.

The TaoTronics TT-DL11 LED desk lamp is very well packaged so you don’t have to worry about it being damaged during shipping like with some others.

Overall TaoTronics TT-DL11 is a great LED desk lamp for its price. It might not work as a night light and it’s brightest setting may not be among the brightest but it has a lot of nice features which make up for it.

Phive LK-2 is clamp supported LED desk lamp. It has a total of 144 LEDs that have a lifetime of 50,000 hours. The lamp has color rendering index of 85 which is a good rating. It has a total of 20 lighting choices with 6 brightness levels and 4 lighting modes. The lamp has light guide plate that protects your eyes by preventing any glaring, flickering and ghosting. Overall the quality of lighting is good but it could be brighter at maximum brightness – it’s not as bright as the lamp it replaces.

The 4 lighting modes are:

• Study/Work: Brightest cool white light that helps you stay focused
• Reading: Cool white light helps you enjoy the reading without eye strain
• Relax: Cozy warm light drives all your stress away
• Bedtime: Comfortable warm light, good dream awaits

The metal clamp unfortunately doesn’t keep the lamp 100% still and it seems to wobble a bit. The lamp is made from aluminum alloy. The design is aesthetic and looks good.

Overall Phive LK-2 is a good LED desk lamp however in my opinion it’s a bit overpriced.

LEPOWER LED Desk Lamp has a total of 36 LEDs. It has a total of 15 lighting choices with 3 color temperature modes and 5 brightness levels. The brightness goes from very dim to pretty bright. The 3 color temperature modes are:

• Incandescent yellow
• Blue/white
• Bright/halogen white

The lamp doesn’t produces very little heat, the lamp never gets hot. It has a adjustable gooseneck that works ok but not as good as in other lamps I reviewed. Still it bends quite nicely and stays in place. The base is small but heavy enough to keep the lamp stable.

The lamp is made from Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene and silicon, it’s sturdy and rather well made.

TOPELEK LED Desk Lamp has a maximum brightness of 400 lumens and color temperature range of 3000-6000K. Manufacturer claims that LEDs used in this lamp have up top 40,000 hour lifespan. Despite its small size it manages to emit a quite bright light. TOPELEK LED Desk Lamp is made from plastic, it doesn’t feel particularly sturdy but should last for a long time with care.

The arm is rotatable by 180 degrees and the base by 90. This LED desk lamp remembers the brightness and color modes last used and will use them when you turn it on next time. It has no lead or mercury and produces 0 UV and IR radiation.

Overall TOPELEK is a decent LED Desk Lamp that offers some light customization but for the price there are better product out there.

Tankuy is a clip type LED desk lamp. It has 3 color temperature modes:

• Warm light
• Natural light
• White light

And two brightness levels:

• High brightness
• Normal brightness

As you can see there are some light adjustment choices but not many of them. The maximum brightness is rated at 220 which isn’t that much, the lighting is clear and good though. The LEDs have a liftetime of 50,000+ hours which is good. The lamp has flexible neck that bends nicely and stays in place. The lamp never gets hot.

Overall Tankuy is ok LED desk lamp but it definitely doesn’t offer best value for money.

#14 TW Lighting IVY-40WT LED desk lamp

TW Lighting IVY-40WT LED desk lamp is rated at 500 lumens at maximum brightness and has a CRI rating of 80+. It has 3 brightness modes, all of them are bright so if you need dim light then you are out of luck. For the price TW Lighting IVY-40WT LED desk lamp provides a really good lighting, however there is no option to regulate color temperature.

The design is minimalist and the lamp doesn’t take much room on the desk. Turning on and off is very simple, there is a single touch-sensitive button in the center of the base that you touch to turn the lamp on/off. The base of the lamp isn’t as heavy as I would like to because it’s vulnerable to being knocked over. The neck bends so you can position the light source the way you want. Surface is easy and simple to clean. There is built-in USB port so you can charge your phone or other devices.

TW Lighting IVY-40WT LED desk lamp is not properly packaged. There is a rick of lamp hitting its own base which create scratches.

Overall TW Lighting IVY-40WT is a decent LED desk lamp but it has many shortcomings.

#15 DEEPLITE LED desk lamp

DEEPLITE is a battery powered LED Desk Lamp that has 3 brightness options. LEDs produce clean and bright light. The manufacturer claims that the lifetime of LEDs is 10,000 hours is which way less than in other lamps we tested.

As I already mentioned this lamp is battery powered. The lamp runs for hours on single charge, however after a while it starts to dim as charge decreases. DEEPLITE battery powered LED Desk Lamp comes with USB type charger, meaning you can charge it from USB ports like on your computer but if you want to use wall outlet you will need to buy USB outlet adapter separately.

DEEPLITE LED Desk Lamp has gooseneck with 360 degree flexibility. You can twist it almost any position, however the top of the lamp is quite heavy so if you place the head too far away from the base the lamp will tip over. The lamp has touch controls and they are responsive and simple to use.

Overall DEEPLITE isn’t that great of an LED Desk Lamp, but if you need a cheap battery powered one then go for it!
