Best Beginner Kendama (Review)
Kendama is a traditional Japanese toy. Kendama consists of handle (“Ken”) and ball (“Tama”) which are connected by a string. The basic principles of playing kendama are tossing the ball and catching it with one of the cups or the point of the stick, however there are almost infinite amount of ways of doing so with different levels of difficulty. Although kendama is considered a Japanese toy, it’s believed that it arrived in Japan from west in 1777 and it originated in France during the 16th century. Some theories suggest that Kendama actually originates in Greece or China. Kendama develops eye coordination, balance and reflexes. Japanese Kendama Association has organized kendama contests since 1979, therefore playing kendama can be considered a competitive sport/game.
I have done extensive research to help you choose the best kendama just for you out of 17 different ones. Read full article now!:
