Aucma SM1520X stand mixer is equipped with 660 watt motor and comes with 7.4-quart stainless steel mixing bowl. It’s a relatively inexpensive stand mixer so is it any good?
Aucma SM1520X does a decent job of mixing doughs but it doesn’t work as well as more advanced stand mixers (like KitchenAid Professional 600 Series).
The issue with Aucma SM1520X (and other cheap stand mixers) is that attachments doesn’t cover the whole mixing bowl and some of the ingredients get stuck at sides and bottom so you have to scrape them off quite frequently.
Other than that it seems to work just fine. Motor seems to be powerful enough. It can get a bit warm if you run it for extended period of time but it doesn’t show any other signs of struggle.
Overall quality is not as good as you get with pricier stand mixers but it isn’t bad. Housing is made of plastic so it doesn’t feel very sturdy but on the upside this also means it’s lighter than stand mixers made of metal so it’s easier to carry.
Aucma SM1520X stand mixer comes with whisk, dough hook and mixing beater. They aren’t dish-washer safe and neither is the mixing bowl.
Aucma 7.4QT stand mixer features tilt head design and has splash guard with access hatch. It also has 6 suction cups to keep it stay put.
Even though Aucma SM1520X is not as good as more expensive stand mixers but it’s significantly cheaper making it overall a good value for money.
