ASCOT Stainless Steel Electric Tea Kettle Review
ASCOT stainless steel electric tea kettle is equipped with 1500 watt heating elements and can hold up to 1.7 liters of water (0.5 liters is the minimum).
Performance
ASCOT electric kettle heats up water quite fast but it’s not much different than other kettles in this price class as most of them have 1500 watt heating element too.
Inside of the kettle is stainless steel, water doesn’t touch any plastic or silicone which is significant advantage over most other similarly priced kettles.
Possible issues
Some consumers reported kettle stopping working, inside rusting or base leaking after less than 1 year. It’s hard to estimate how common these issues are.
Other
The opening is quite large making it easy to clean or fill ASCOT electric kettle with water.
Verdict
For the money this is a pretty good electric kettle. It heats up water fast and water doesn’t touch any plastic so you don’t have to worry about harmful chemicals. With that being said some consumers have had some issues after ~1 year use (hard to estimate how common they are, might as well be more of a exception than a rule thing).
