aobosi YC-100B 15″ 30-Bottle Dual Zone Wine Cooler Review

aobosi YC-100B (also known as AAOBOSI YC-100B) is a 15-inch wide dual zone wine cooler that stores up to 30 standard sized Bordeaux wine bottles (2.75” x 11.8’’). It’s actually quite hard to fit the 30 smallest 750 mL bottles, borderline impossible, but you can fit 28 of them just fine. You can store 3 bottles per shelve normally (except the very bottom which fits more) with the bottom of bottles facing you and then you can fit two more bottles between the other 3 if you put them with the head facing towards you. If you have larger bottles then you won’t be able to store as many.

aobosi YC-100B is a dual zone wine cooler with upper zone having adjustable temperature from 41°F to 55.4°F (5°C to 13°C) for white, rose and sparkling wines, and bottom zone with adjustable temperature from 55.4°F to 64.4°F (13°C to 18°C) for red wines.

Temperature in the chamber is not 100% accurate but it’s not far off. It also does fluctuate a bit but if you measure temperature of wine you will notice it stays pretty constant so it seems like fluctuations doesn’t really impact it. Yes, cooling accuracy could be slightly improved to be truly perfect, but even with the slight inaccuracies aobosi YC-100B manages to keep your wine at optimal temperatures.

Features

aobosi YC-100B has front venting on the bottom so it can be left freestanding or be built-in. Since it’s a dual zone wine cooler it also has dual fan circulating system. Carbon filtration system makes sure that the air in the chamber is of optimal quality.

Shelves are made of beech wood and are of very nice quality. They roll out smoothly.

Door glass is double-layer tempered for UV protection. Door can be locked with included key.

Interior of chamber features a very nice blue ambient lighting that be turned on or off.

Control panel

Control panel features 2 LCD displays (both for displaying temperature – one of upper zone and the other for bottom zone) and 6 buttons.

Two of the buttons (“+” and “-“) is for adjusting chamber temperature in 1 degree increments. “°F/°C” button switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales. One of the buttons is for selecting which chamber setting you want to adjust. Button with “two bulbs” icon turns on or off interior lighting. Sixth button is simply for turning wine cooler on or off.

Noise

aobosi YC-100B is relatively quiet for a wine cooler but it’s not noiseless. For the most part it emits almost unnoticeable noise except when compressor kicks in then it becomes louder but still isn’t very loud.

Conclusions

Despite some slight imperfections aobosi YC-100B overall is a good wine cooler for the money that manages to keep wine temperatures constant.
