Aobosi JC-85B 15-Inch 28-Bottle Dual Zone Wine Cooler Review

Aobosi JC-85B (also known as AAOBOSI YC-85B) is a dual zone compressor wine cooler that holds up to 28 standard sized 750ml Bordeaux wine bottles. If your bottles are bigger than that then you won’t be able to fit as many. If they are particularly thick they might no fit at all.

Temperature in upper zone is adjustable from 41°F to 54°F (for dry,white,rose and sparkling wines) and in lower zone from 54°F to 68°F (for red wines). Temperature control seems to be accurate and pretty consistent too.

When you receive your Aobosi JC-85B you should let it sit upright for 24 hours to allow coolant fluids to settle in. After you turn it on it will take couple hours for it to cool down to set temperatures.

Features

Aobosi JC-85B features double tempered glass door for UV ray protection, blue interior LED lighting, control panel auto-lock after 3 minutes of inactivity and front venting which allows this unit to be built-in (but can be left freestanding if you desire so).

Control panel

Control panel features two temperature readout LCD displays (one for each zone) and 6 buttons:

• “On/Off” button: Hold for 3 seconds to turn wine cooler on or off.
• “°F/°C” button: Press to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales.
• “🌡” button: Press if you want to adjust temperature settings.
• “+” button: Increases temperature in 1 degree increments.
• “-” button: Decreases temperature in 1 degree increments.
• “💡” button: Turns on interior lighting on or off.

To unlock control panel hold “+” and “-” buttons for 3 seconds.

Noise

Aobosi JC-85B is relatively quiet for a wine cooler but it’s not completely silent. It does emit a pitch during cooling cycle (lasts about 5 minutes) but is very quiet for following 10 or a bit more minutes.

Assembly

Aobosi JC-85B is shipped almost completely assembled. All you have to do is attach the door handle.

Conclusions

Aobosi JC-85B is a good wine cooler for the money. If it fits your budget and requirements then it’s likely the one you should buy.
