AICOOK TXG-S5T13 1700W is another air fryer among dozen with 5.8-quart cooking basket. Can it stand out among competition?
Food comes out crispy on outside and moist inside making for a really tasty combination. And yes food is cooked evenly.
Cooking basket is plenty big to cook for 2 persons but for a family of four might be too small depending on how large you like your portions to be.
There are two complaints though. First, AICOOK TXG-S5T13 can be a bit loud. Not super loud but it does make some noise. Second, it has 8 cooking presets but they don’t always work great. They can overcook (burn) your food so be careful if you decide to try them out.
AICOOK TXG-S5T13 feels pretty robust and well made, many other air fryers at this price point feel less sturdy but that doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t last as long.
AICOOK TXG-S5T13 features LCD display and touch sensitive controls. It’s pretty simple to use however buttons could be illuminated more brightly, they are a bit dim making them harder to read.
There are two buttons for temperature adjustments, two buttons for cooking time adjustments, “Start/Pause” button as well another button for switching through cooking presets if you want to use those. The 8 presets are:
- French fries: 400°F for 20 minutes.
- Toast: 360°F for 18 minutes.
- Pizza: 320°F for 12 minutes.
- Shrimp: 360°F for 8 minutes.
- Chicken legs: 360°F for 20 minutes.
- Steak: 400°F for 12 minutes.
- Fish: 400°F for 10 minutes.
- Bacon: 360°F for 12 minutes.
AICOOK TXG-S5T13 has nonstick basket which is easy to clean, dishwasher safe and BPA free.
AICOOK TXG-S5T13 is a decent air fryer but there isn’t anything about that sets it apart from competition. Yes, it cooks really well, but there are plenty of air fryers who cook just as well. Doesn’t mean AICOOK TXG-S5T13 is worse than any of them, it’s just you can’t find anything to objectively call it better.
