Acekool MK-5101 7.5QT Stand Mixer Review

Acekool MK-5101 is a stand mixer with 660 watt pure copper motor and 7.5 quart mixing bowl (keep in mind that it’s quite large and if you are looking to save as much counterspace as possible perhaps you should look for smaller models. On the other hand if you like to make larger batches of dough then the size is just right)

Performance

The motor is quite powerful. Despite the large bowl size Acekool MK-5101 doesn’t show any signs of struggling and handles stiff doughs just fine.

There are 10 speed settings which is more than most similarly priced stand mixers have meaning you have more options to find just the right speed for whatever you are mixing.

Acekool MK-5101 isn’t perfect though. Attachments don’t reach the very bottom of the bowl so sometimes you will have to stop the mixer and scrape (often multiple times) the bottom to make sure all of the ingredients are properly mixed.

Another thing is that it might shake a bit while mixing. It stays stationary (it doesn’t move) but the slight shaking isn’t confidence inspiring.

Basically Acekool MK-5101 does the job with some inconveniences. It’s somewhat to be expected as cheaper models don’t perform as well as premium models like KitchenAid Professional 600 Series.

Quality

Acekool MK-5101 does feel cheap compared to high-end models. It’s doesn’t feel as well made or sturdy since the housing is made of ABS plastic and not metal. There’s one upside to this though – plastic is lighter than metal so naturally the stand mixer is lighter as well making it easier to move.

Verdict

Acekool MK-5101 7.5QT stand mixer works just fine for the money. Sure, it’s far from perfect, but it does the job and not everyone wants to spend a lot of money on KitchenAid Professional 600 Series.
