CHEFMAN RJ38-2LM is another great 2-quart air fryer. It can cook in temperatures ranging from 200°F to 400°F and just like with GoWISE USA Mini the results are delicious. French fries come out crispy and meat is juicy on inside.

Basket and the tray are top-rack dishwasher safe.

Some of the consumers have had issues with plastic taste and/or smell. This is completely normal for air fryers due to protective material that protects heating elements during storage and shipping. To get rid of this smell you can cook slices of lemon, lemon juice or vinegar for ~15 minutes. In most cases this is enough to get rid of taste and smell.

This issue might also be caused by plastic stoppers on the tray so perhaps removing them is a good idea.

Controls

CHEFMAN RJ38-2LM 2-quart air fryer has mechanical controls. You get two knobs for adjustments – one for temperature and the other one for time. Mechanical controls are not as accurate as digital but some prefer them because they are easier to use and since the food comes out tasting great you can make an argument that they are accurate enough.

Verdict

CHEFMAN RJ38-2LM is another great 2-quart air fryer. If you prefer mechanical controls over digital then this is the model to get. Don’t be repulsed by some consumer experience about the plastic smell and taste as this is completely normal and easy to get rid of (can happen with any air fryer).

GoWise USA GW22632 is slightly larger than other air fryers in this list with with cooking capacity of 2.75 quarts.

It also cooks well. Meat and fish comes out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There might be a slight learning-curve to select the right cooking settings but once you overcome it the food will taste great. It feels a bit cheaper then the 2-quart model but it’s still a good air fryer nonetheless.

Controls

GoWise USA GW22632 is equipped with display screen and 5 buttons (2 for temperature, 2 for time and 1 for starting cooking).

Verdict

GoWise USA GW22632 is slightly worse than the GoWISE USA Mini air fryer but the additional cooking capacity might be worth for the trade off.

#4 BLACK+DECKER HF110SBD Purify 2.1 Quart Air Fryer

BLACK+DECKER HF110SBD has a cooking capacity of 2.1 quart and has a temperature range of 175°F to 400°F.

It’s generally sold at a higher price than the air fryers above which is why it only comes #4 but it cooks about as well as them too. Chicken wings, french fries, fish, shrimp come out crispy and it works well with frozen foods or leftovers too.

Controls

BLACK+DECKER HF110SBD uses two dials for temperature and time adjustments. Another reason why it’s only #4 on this list is that there are only 5 temperature increments written down (175°F, 200°F, 250°F, 300°F, 350°F and 400°F) so dialing other temperatures will be a bit inaccurate.

Verdict

BLACK+DECKER HF110SBD is not a bad air fryer but it’s slightly overpriced and the fact there are only 5 temperature increments written down makes it harder to use.

#5 Cosmo COS-23AFAKB 2.3 Quart Air Fryer

Cosmo COS-23AFAKB is an air fryer with 2.3 quart cooking capacity and temperature range of 180°F to 400°F.

It cooks well but sometimes can take longer to cook food. Perhaps the heating element is a bit underpowered.

Fry basket and basket grill have nonstick coating and are dishwasher safe.

Some consumers also had plastic taste/smell issue but it should be easily gotten rid of following previously stated procedure.

Cosmo COS-23AFAKB is equipped with two knobs – 1 for adjusting temperature (180°F to 400°F) and other one for adjusting time (up to 30 minutes)

Verdict

Cosmo COS-23AFAKB is a decent air fryer but it’s slightly less good than the others in this list. It’s also less popular model so in an unlikely scenario it has some design flaws that might influence its lifetime it would be harder to find about them however that shouldn’t be anything to worry about as majority of consumers feedback is positive.
